Cylindropuntia acanthocarpa × bigelovii

Red teddy bear cholla

Available

Packed by hand and shipped by USPS from Phoenix, Arizona. Shipping is priced at checkout from the packed weight and box size. Shipping details

A cross between two of the Sonoran Desert’s most familiar chollas. It keeps the teddy bear’s thick coat of spines but trades the pale gold for warmer, rusty color, strongest on new growth in full sun.

Ships bare-root in a hard mailing tube. Handle it with tongs or folded newspaper; the spines are barbed and the joints detach easily.
