A xeromorph is a plant whose form has been shaped by drought: water held in swollen stems, skin thickened against the sun, leaves reduced to spines or abandoned altogether. Every plant in this catalog is one. Each is a small, slow piece of engineering, and it deserves to be treated that way.
Xeromorphs is a small shop in Phoenix, Arizona, in the middle of the Sonoran Desert, where these plants are simply the neighbors. Plants are rooted, grown on, and packed here by hand, one order at a time.
How plants are sent
Most plants ship bare-root: shaken clean, dried, wrapped in paper and padded so nothing shifts. It is the safest way to send a cactus, and the plant arrives ready for fresh soil. Chollas and long cuttings travel in hard mailing tubes; everything else goes in a box sized to fit. You can read the details on the shipping page.

The shop started on Etsy, where you can still find the reviews from the first few years. Questions about a plant, or looking for something not listed? Write any time.
